International relationships,
including Chinese relationships
Gangsted-Rasmussen is an international law firm focusing on the rapidly developing Chinese market.
As at 1 April 2011, Gangsted-Rasmussen has expanded its staff of legal employees with yet another Attorney-at-Law, Ho Kei Au, who has extensive experience in advising and following international clients with headquarters in Denmark and activities around the world; especially with establishing business in China. As the Chinese economy has developed rapidly in recent decades, new opportunities have opened for our clients.
We can now offer this core expertise to existing and future clients.
Establishment in China
Our most important role in a Danish-based company's establishment in China is to guide the company through the Chinese system in order to get off to a good start. This involves the use of our network of local consultants. Furthermore, we can act as the coordinator of projects in China or other countries so that the company can concentrate on the company’s operations in China, while we manage the legal formalities.
It goes without saying that by using our expert network in China, in Cantonese and/or English, the company can ensure that the Danish-based company makes its business decisions on a fully informed legal basis. Our primary tasks are to ensure the law is not a problem when doing business in China, to support Danish-based companies and afford companies the confidence from knowing that the legal aspects are in place.
We not only advise companies with plans to set up in China, but also companies with plans to acquire and sell companies in China, including the entire underlying Group structure.
Establishment in Denmark and Europe
We have previously advised international companies, including Chinese companies, with operations in Europe; including Denmark. In this context, we have also acted as companies’ primary contact in the European market and have been responsible for legal assistance for operations in Denmark. In relation to European activities, we have served as the company's access to the European market and thereby acted as co-ordinator in relation to other consultants in Europe.
Our clients have enjoyed our support regardless of where they wished to expand their business, and we look forward to advising more clients who are expanding their activities in Denmark or abroad, particularly China.
In addition to the abovementioned Cantonese and English, our advice is also available in Swedish, Norwegian and German.
